Downtown Neighborhood Alliance
The Downtown Neighborhood Alliance represents the interests of people who call this neighborhood their home. They work together to make the neighborhood safer, cleaner, and more enjoyable while enhancing the area’s overall image and quality of life. The group represents residents’ concerns about issues such as parking and street lighting, and provides a social outlet through which residents can meet and mingle with their fellow neighbors.

The Chamber is dedicated to helping member businesses of all sizes grow and prosper in Rhode Island and attracting investment from outside Rhode Island.
The Providence Foundation
The Foundation originates and advocates policies and projects for the development of downtown and the City. It plays a leadership role in planning for downtown. Its primary focus is to create an environment that is conducive to economic development and sustained investment in downtown and the creation of a vibrant neighborhood.
Providence Preservation Society Revolving Fund
www.ppsrf.org/downcityloans.cfm PPSRF was incorporated in 1980 as a separate, 501(c) 3 non-profit organization affiliated with the Providence Preservation Society. The Revolving Fund manages two capital funds, the Neighborhood Fund with over $2 million in assets and the Downcity Fund with $7.2 million. The Downcity Fund Loan Program was established with proceeds from a program-related investment from the Rhode Island Foundation, through the Downcity Partnership, Inc. All loans are reviewed by the Downcity Advisory Board, representing the PPS Revolving Fund and the Providence Foundation.
Providence Warwick Convention & Visitors Bureau
www.pwcvb.com The PWCVB creates vibrant growth for the local economy by promoting, developing and expanding a united convention, meetings and leisure industry. The marketing & communications staff organizes fun, family-friendly getaway packages and successful community events—like the Federal Hill Stroll, Tour Rhode Island, and Restaurant Week. They also assist members of the media by providing writers with resources such as press kits, press releases, event calendars, photo CDs, newsletters, and travel planning assistance. To attract high-quality conventions to the city, the sales team hosts prospective clients and participates in meeting planner trade shows.

Providence Economic Development Partnership
The PEDP is a City-affiliated not-for-profit corporation and the prime economic development organization for the City of Providence. PEDP provides assistance on a range of matters including site selection, workforce development & training, sourcing local customers and suppliers, access to government services, entrepreneurship skills, access to traditional and non-traditional finance and other areas of technical assistance.
